Who are you?

You are an enthusiastic and dynamic educator or training professional on a mission to empower educators and educational institutions in shaping successful futures for students in New York City.

With exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic, you excel in delivering outstanding learning experiences to educators. Your passion for teaching is evident, coupled with expertise in crafting effective strategies to achieve desired learning outcomes. Tailoring content to suit your audience comes naturally to you, as you prioritize clarity, relevance, and real-world application in your presentations. You are energized by the opportunity to offer just-in-time coaching, model best practices, and help educators embed college and career readiness activities into their daily work.

Collaborative by nature, you constantly explore innovative approaches to deliver impactful training, driving program adoption alongside your peers. Your organizational efficiency shines through in your ability to seamlessly schedule, conduct, and manage a wide variety of training sessions. You are also deeply attuned to the voice of the customer, capturing on-the-ground insights to inform continuous improvement of training, resources, and the platform itself.

You are a passionate educator and trainer, committed to making a positive impact in NYC schools by equipping educators with the knowledge, tools and confidence they need to guide students toward high quality postsecondary planning.

What you’ll do…

  • Conduct on-site training and consultation for educators across New York City, grounded in a thorough understanding of the district’s goals and schools’ needs, to demonstrate how they can maximize their impact on students
  • Relentlessly drive adoption with schools to ensure they’re using the platform to the greatest benefit for their students
  • Participate in meetings, site visits and other events to build awareness of Xello and develop relationships with NYC educators
  • Create and deliver customized training materials, user guides, and localized FAQs tailored to school needs
  • Offer one-on-one, small-group, and virtual coaching sessions, particularly for new users or schools with limited capacity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—success managers, onboarding managers, and support staff—to ensure strong platform adoption
  • Help schools embed the platform into existing advisory, classroom, and CCR programming
  • Support evaluation of training and adoption approaches, monitor key metrics, and capture user feedback to inform future improvements
  • Act as a field researcher, gathering authentic use stories, understanding barriers, and best practices to share with internal teams
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of professional development materials and platform content
  • Support school staff in using platform data to take targeted action and boost student engagement
  • Stay on top of product and resource updates and creatively integrate new features into training
  • Handle scheduling and administration of training sessions and maintain accurate records in the CRM (Salesforce)

What we’re looking for…

  • Candidates are required to be located in the New York City area
  • 1-3 years experience working in a public school district or corporate training environment, with knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional techniques
  • Experience supporting school-based planning and/or integration of educational technology into classrooms or advisory periods
  • Experience and comfort with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Google Suite
  • Experience working with SaaS or education technology industry (nice to have)
  • Ability to travel to locations throughout New York City, being on-site up to 70% of the time, with occasional travel outside
