Xello is looking for an Employer Liaison

Who are you?

You are a highly driven individual who has integrity, a great work ethic, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You are not afraid to initiate outreach, are naturally curious, and love getting to know people by combining empathy, humor, and authenticity. You love being part of new initiatives and having input in how projects evolve. 

You are passionate about cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing partners as their primary point of contact, and you have the interpersonal and strategic planning skills to make them successful.

Working with various teams in Xello and partner organizations, you’ll encourage employers in Florida to participate in work-based learning (WBL) programs with school districts. You will reach out to businesses and industry organizations to articulate the value of work-based learning for the community, and ensure employer needs are being met.

What you’ll do…

  • Engage with employers across Florida to ignite excitement about Xello
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employers and partner organizations and explain the benefits of providing WBL opportunities to students
  • Present Xello and the Florida work-based learning initiative to business prospects
  • Provide ongoing support and encouragement for partnered employers in order to sustain high levels of engagement and participation
  • Educate employers about best practices for delivering work-based learning opportunities for students
  • Initiate and manage an employer advisory council for work-based learning
  • Collaborate with Xello leaders to develop and continually refine our employer recruitment strategy
  • Gather feedback from employers and identify opportunities to improve the employer WBL experience
  • Develop and maintain work-based learning resources to support educators, employers, students and families
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Xello’s success, onboarding, and training team members who are dedicated to the successful implementation of the Xello program in Florida
 

What we’re looking for… 

  • 2+ years of demonstrated sales, outbound prospecting or relevant outreach experience 
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships, being accountable for client success, and delivering value to prospects and clients with every interaction
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
  • A keen attention to detail, and highly organized when it comes to information management, planning, and time management
  • A strong record of success driven by high motivation and self-direction
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile work environment, where working under pressure and without supervision is the norm
  • Enthusiastic about learning and implementing new solutions and technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Proficiency with G Suite
  • Willingness to travel (Less than 15% of time)
