Who are you?
 

You are a marketing professional with foundational experience supporting marketing campaigns, advertising channels, and go-to-market execution in a B2B or SaaS environment.

You’re excited to learn and execute. You’re comfortable understanding strategy, taking direction, and creating concrete campaigns. You care about leveraging partnerships, testing ad channels, and delivering repeatable results that directly drive revenue. 

You’re excited to deepen your expertise in growth marketing and demand generation while working under the guidance of an experienced director. You’re happy collaborating with external partners while frequently discussing strategy across Marketing, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success. Last but not least: you love engaging with leaders in education.

 

What you'll do:

Go-to-Market Campaign Building

In partnership with the Director of Growth Marketing and sales partners, you will support go-to-market campaigns for Xello’s suite of products.

You will:

  • Support and execute marketing campaigns aimed at new customer acquisition, expansion, and retention
  • Research and manage trade media buys extending growth campaigns through newsletters, display advertising, events, content syndication, etc.
  • Support the Content Marketing team in building new thought leadership for the K12 space
  • Provide requirements for new advertising assets, maintaining consistency across messaging and branding

Contract Management and Optimization

In collaboration with your manager, you will:

  • Locate and engage new partnership opportunities in the K12 industry
  • Initiate and negotiate marketing contracts focused on driving new leads for sales
  • Maintain organized, accessible campaign information and results for internal sharing
  • Closely monitor ROI of partnership campaigns, amending tactics based on results
Cross-Functional Partnership

You will collaborate closely with:

  • Sales & Success teams to hear strategy and report on campaign performance
  • Brand & Content teams to build campaign content and digital marketing ad copy
  • Revenue Operations team to maintain processes and performance
  • Digital Marketing team to understand campaign architecture and lead flow


What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 1+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, display advertising, B2B marketing, or a related marketing function
  • Aptitude and interest in marketing channels and technology platforms
  • Organized and able to manage multiple workstreams with deadlines
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with other Marketers, Operations, Sales, and Customer Success
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize performance data and make recommendations for strategy iteration
  • Ownership mentality - someone who takes initiative and follows through

Nice to have:

  • Exposure to SaaS or multi-product software environments
  • Familiarity with partnership marketing, contract management, and media buying
  • Experience supporting B2B advertising campaigns
  • Experience or interest in the K–12 education market
Please note that this is a remote position based in Canada.

The compensation range for this role is $45,000 to $60,000 CAD. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience and expertise, as assessed during the interview process.
